Information we collect

You can search SponsorRoles without creating an account. When you create a job alert, we collect your email address, optional keyword and location preferences, consent record, subscription status and delivery history. When you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, enquiry category, optional page URL, message and correspondence. Cloudflare Turnstile processes technical information to check for automated submissions. Our hosting provider may also process limited technical data such as IP address, browser information, requested pages, timestamps and security logs.

How and why we use it

• To send job-alert emails you requested and manage confirmation or unsubscribe requests.
• To respond to enquiries, support requests, privacy requests and listing corrections.
• To operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve the website.
• To establish, exercise or defend legal claims and comply with legal obligations.

We rely on your consent to send job-alert emails. You can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in each alert. We rely on legitimate interests for operating and securing the service and responding to ordinary enquiries, and on legal obligation where the law requires processing.

Who receives information

We use service providers that support the website, including Vercel for hosting, Supabase for database infrastructure, Resend for email delivery and Cloudflare Turnstile for contact-form bot protection. They may process information on our behalf under their own security and data-processing terms. Job application links take you to external providers or employers; their privacy policies apply after you leave SponsorRoles.

International transfers

Some providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where required, we rely on recognised safeguards such as adequacy regulations or approved contractual protections.

Retention

We keep active subscription information while you receive alerts. After you unsubscribe, we retain the minimum information needed to honour your opt-out and demonstrate compliance. We keep correspondence only for as long as needed to answer the request, maintain appropriate business records, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. Technical, security and email-delivery logs are retained according to our providers’ configured retention periods.

Your rights
