Start with the legal employer name
Copy the employer name from the original advert. If the business uses a trading name, ask which legal organisation would employ you. Search that name in the sponsor directory and compare the location with the advert.
Read the routes on the record
Open the company record to see the available route and licence information. A name match alone is not enough: similarly named organisations may be unrelated.
Verify the latest official record
Use the government register as your final reference. It lists organisations licensed for Worker and Temporary Worker routes, including licence categories and sponsorship ratings.
Ask about the vacancy
Ask the recruiter whether this particular vacancy offers sponsorship. Being on the register does not establish that an employer will sponsor your application.
